5/7/21 - Bracelets and Optional Earrings Metalsmithing with Jean Skipper
Just in time for Mothers Day!
On Friday, May 7th, between 11:00 and 2:00, you'll create a beautiful Solid Copper Link Bracelet featuring the Cultured Pearls, Glass Beads, or Gemstone Beads of your choice. Jean has a huge selection of beads available, and she's looking forward to sharing all of them with you. If you'd like to mix-it-up by adding your own sentimental treasures, please bring them to class. For your shopping pleasure, additional found objects are always available at ARTworks Vass too.
If you'd like to make a Pair of Earrings on Sterling Silver Earwires to match your bracelet, that option will be available as you register.
If 1 Bracelet just isn't enough, up to 1 extra may also be created at an additional cost. This option is available only at the time of registration.
This is an all inclusive make-and-take class, and you can expect to leave with your finished masterpieces. Jean will be available to guide you each step of the way. Beginners are welcome, and those age fourteen and older are invited to attend.
Jean will present you with easy instructions and hands-on assistance during every step of the process. She’ll also provide you with all of the supplies and tools that you’ll need to complete your class projects. You'll learn about safe tool usage, metal preparation, cold connection techniques, finishing, and polishing.
Other Important Information:
- Registration allows for 1 person per class. Only those who have registered may participate.
- Face coverings are required throughout the gallery at all times.

- Aprons are not provided. You may bring your own if you wish.
- Class starts promptly, so be sure to arrive on time.
- Registrations are non-refundable.
