Trash to treasure! On Wednesday, March 20th, from 5:30 until 8:30, you'll upcycle empty food cans into one of a kind jewelry with Amy Smith.
Amy will teach you how to safely prepare your metal so that the edges are smooth and no longer sharp. She'll also show you how to safely cut down vegetable and soup cans into shapes for earrings and pendants. Beads will be added for color and sparkle too.
Guests will make up to three pairs of earrings or pendants, or they may mix and match the two. Time permitting, more jewelry may be created at an additional cost.
This class is priced at $39, and all supplies are included. It's appropriate for guests with all levels of experience, and those age fourteen and older are welcome to attend.
At ARTworks Vass, we encourage you to bring a friend; bring a snack; and bring the tasty beverage of your choice. Wine is always welcome.
