2/15/23 ARTworks Writes - Creative Writing with Stacey Mataxis Whitlow
Join Wordsmith, Educator, and Facilitator, Stacey Mataxis Whitlow, for her new ARTworks Writes writing classes on Wednesday, Feb. 15th at 5:30 pm.
Tired of writing alone? Would you like feedback or peer advice? Do you simply like to watch others create? Then we welcome you to join our monthly 2-hour writing workshops to help guide and enhance your own creative writing practice. Each month we will start by sharing an optional 50 words or less piece you created based on the month’s topic (FEBRUARY: LOVE). Then we will use the bulk of the time to workshop any pieces/projects you bring with you to share with the class (each participant will receive dedicated time to discuss their own work and to receive feedback). The final part of the workshop will be a creative writing activity that can be used throughout the month for additional writing practice. The hope is for ArtWorks Vass to eventually host a yearly open mic event where our writers can share their works with the community.
Beginners are welcome and guests age 14 and older are welcome to attend.
Other Important Information:
- Registration allows for 1 person per class. Only those who have registered may participate.
- Class starts promptly, so be sure to arrive on time.
- Registrations are non-refundable.
