Other Important Information

  • Our studio clay is a Cone 6 Speckled Brownstone by Highwater Clay.
  • If you need additional clay above what's provided in your current ARTworks Vass Pottery Membership Tier, please upgrade to the next highest level.
  • If you're already at our highest Membership Level, and you need additional clay above what's provided in your current ARTworks Vass Pottery Membership Tier, please contact us with the specifics of your request at [email protected], and we'll create an additional Membership Tier to meet your needs.
  • Although not being enforeced at this time, as demand increases we'll begin to track studio time. Additional Studio Time over what's provided in your membership level may be purchased at a cost of $8 per hour.
  • Additional space in our Bisque Kiln or our Glaze Kiln may be purchased using this listing. Additional Kiln Space should be purchased before you move your work to be fired to The Kiln House.
  • As scheduling allows, "Rush Firing Service" will permit you to jump to the front of the line for a bisque or glaze kiln firing at an additional cost of $50 plus firing costs. Please contact us to arrange scheduling before purchasing this.
  • Purchases made here are non-refundable.



By choosing to create and fire your pottery with ARTworks Vass, you shall indemnify and hold harmless ARTworks Vass, Jean Skipper (Owner), Beth Roy (Pottery Studio Manager), and anyone else associated with ARTworks Vass for any pieces that crack, break, blister, explode, and also for those that achieve an unsatisfactory result.


By choosing to fire your pottery with ARTworks Vass, you will be responsible for any damage to our kilns or kiln shelves caused by your pieces should they melt, explode, or damage the kiln during an otherwise proper firing. This includes your responsibility to clean, refinish, or replace all shelves and equipment damaged by the firing of your pieces.
