Join Yvonne Sovereign on Saturday, September 21st from 9:30 to 1:00. You'll delve into the world of brush strokes, blending and color mixing under Yvonne's expert guidance as you follow her step-by-step in painting "Blue Lovebirds" on a 9x12" canvas. Alla prima is a wet-on-wet approach whereby wet paint is applied to previous layers of still-wet paint, often in a single sitting. Your finished masterpiece can go home with you the same day but be sure to bring a box or something to set your wet painting on during transport.
All materials are provided and students who prefer their own brushes and palette are welcome to bring them.

Yvonne has been an artist most of her life, art is not just what she does, it’s who she is. She works in oils, watercolors, and graphite drawings and her subjects range from still life, seascapes, landscapes to animals. Yvonne is best known for her sensitive portrayal of dogs with her ability to capture their elusive spirit, life energy and beauty.

- Children age 14 and older may attend class independently.
- Children under age 14 may join this class if a responsible adult also registers to attend and participate with them.
- Registration allows for one Guest per class project.
- Only Registered Guests may attend class.
- Registrations are non-refundable.

- Dress to mess or bring an apron.
- Closed toe shoes are recommended.
