9/12/24 - Make a Mandela Or Create Your Own Design with Laura Scott
Join Laura Scott on Thursday, Sept. 12th from 5:30 to 8:00 pm to make a Mandela from a variety of shells, glass, pieces and parts of costume jewelry, rocks, etc. You will create your masterpiece in a beautiful deep set white frame measuring 8" x 8" square. If a Mandela isn't your thing, use one of the patterns provided or create your own design!
Various colors, sizes and textures of glass along with rocks, shells, pearls, customs jewelry, beads and baubles will be available for you to layer your design before sealing it in a coat of clear resin. All supplies are included and you're encouraged to bring your own treasures to incorporate if you wish.
Due to the time necessary for the resin to cure, your project will be available for pick-up the following day.
Important Information:
- Beginners are welcome.
- Children age 14 and older may attend class independently.
- Children under age 14 may join this class if a responsible adult also registers to attend and participate with them.
- Registration allows for one Guest per class project.
- Only Registered Guests may attend class.
- Registrations are non-refundable.
- Class starts promptly as scheduled.
- Dress to mess or bring an apron.
- At ARTworks Vass, you're always welcome to bring your own Nibbles and Sips to class.
