Join Kathy Downs on Saturday, Dec. 7th from 2:00 to 5:00 to make 2 fused glass Christmas Tree Sun Catchers in the design and colors of your choice! Make one for yourself and one to share!
Kathy supplies pre-cut tree shape glass bases and a variety of colors in fusible COE 96 glass. She also provides various pebbles, stringers, noodles, scraps, and millefiori – in special Christmas colors and shapes.
The all inclusive price of $49 includes 2 pre-cut clear 3-inch tree shapes, fusible glass in various colors, tool usage, 1 kiln firing, and class instruction.

Kathy Downs discovered her passion for glass art in 2011 when she and her family moved to the Quantico, VA area. Initially her small glass pieces were unique gifts for family and friends but as her collection and skills grew, she started selling her glass to fund her "glass" habit! She now creates both large and small fused glass in her home-based studio and with 38 years of eduction experience, she is excited to teach and mentor aspiring glass artists through her fused glass classes at ARTworks Vass!

- Beginners are welcome.
- Children age 14 and older may attend class independently.
- Children under age 14 may join this class if a responsible adult also registers to attend and participate with them.
- Registration allows for one Guest per class project.
- Only Registered Guests may attend class.
- Registrations are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.
- Class starts promptly as scheduled.
- Dress to mess or bring an apron.
- Closed toe shoes are recommended.
- At ARTworks Vass, you're always welcome to bring your own Nibbles and Sips to class.
