12/14/24 - Paint Your Pet, Favorite Animal or Landscape with Ken McNeill
Cats, Dogs, Lizards, Fish, Pigs, and more! You name it, and Ken will help you paint your favorite pet or animal. Or, if you've always wanted to paint a landscape, go for it, this is the perfect class to try it out!
Join Ken McNeill on Sat., Dec. 14th from 5:00 to 8:00 to paint your pet, favorite animal, or landscape from your photo. Ken will prepare an 11x14 or 12x12 canvas with a line drawing based on the photos you provide in advance of class. He will select the best size canvas and photo for student success! Even if you’ve never touched a paintbrush, you will be amazed by your ability with Ken’s easy-going teaching style. You REALLY can do this! Check out the student work photos to see for yourself!
Send 3 photos of the same pet/animal or 1 photo of the landscape to [email protected] right after registering for the class. Please call the gallery at 910-245-4129 if you are registering within 3 days of class to inquire about availability.
About Your Instructor:
Ken McNeill, Resident Artist at ARTworks Vass, lives in Sanford, North Carolina. By day, he works as an electrical engineer in a job that’s highly structured by the laws of mathematics and physics. At night and on weekends, he breaks those constraints by filling his canvases with bold strokes of bright colors.
Important Information:
- Beginners are welcome.
- Children age 14 and older may attend class independently.
- Children under age 14 may join this class if a responsible adult also registers to attend and participate with them.
- Registration allows for one Guest per class project.
- Only Registered Guests may attend class.
- Registrations are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.
- Class starts promptly as scheduled.
- At ARTworks Vass, you're always welcome to bring your own Nibbles and Sips to class.
- Dress to mess or bring an apron.
