Would you like to throw the Birthday Bash of your child's dreams?!?! One's that as creative, fun, and easy for you as you can possibly imagine? If so, we'd love to help you to make both of your dreams come true!

This select group of classes, designed especially for our Children's Birthday Parties, are available at a cost of $29 per guest. Available dates are listed. If you need to book a future party, please contact us.

Included Birthday Party Projects include the following:

• Option 1 - An 11 x 14 Painted Canvas in Acrylic Paint - 1 canvas will be prepared for each guest, with the line drawings that you choose in advance of class. Up to 2 different drawings per party may be selected in almost any style that you can imagine. Kids just want to have fun, so while there's no step-by-step instruction with this option, a member of our staff will be on hand with you and your guests throughout the party. This option allows 1 hour for creating, and finished canvases will be ready to take home at the end of the party. A few photos of a party in process are shown here.

• Option 2 - Painted Ceramic Figurines, Mugs, Bowls, or Small Plates - 1 ceramic piece in the style of your choice will be ready and waiting for each guest. Up to 2 different options per party may be selected in almost any style that you can imagine. While there's no step-by-step instruction with this option, a member of our staff will be on hand with you and your guests throughout the party. This option allows 1 hour for creating, and after being fired in our kiln, work will be ready for pickup within 2 weeks of the day of your party. Samples of a few possible projects are shown in the photos here, starting with the Golden Dog.

• Option 3 - Pottery Making - Critters and Creatures - Each child will create 1 small sized Critter or Creature from raw clay. Your party will begin with a demonstration and an introduction to the tools and materials. Guests will then enjoy a bit of creative play as they get the feel of the clay by shaping it and adding textures. Finally they'll create their own Critter or Creature from a pinch pot and a wide variety of optional features that we provide. (Think eyes, beaks, horns, and more!) This option allows for 1 hour of creating, and after being dried thoroughly and fired in our kiln, work will be ready to be glazed within 2 weeks. We'll update each of your guests by text when work is ready to be glazed, and they may then join us in the studio individually at any time during regular business hours to do so. ARTworks Vass is open Monday through Saturday, from 9:30 until 5:30, and we ask that all glazing begin by 4:00 daily. We're also open for an after-hours Free Open Studio on the second Wednesday of each month, from 4:00 until 7:00, and guests may join us to glaze during these events too. • Option 4 - Pottery Making - Tiny Dishes - Each child will create 2 small sized Tiny Pottery Dishes from raw clay. Your party will begin with a demonstration and an introduction to the tools and materials. Guests will then enjoy a bit of creative play as they get the feel of the clay by shaping it and adding textures. Finally they'll create their own Tiny Dishes from the small slabs of clay that we provide. After your party, work will be dried thoroughly, kiln fired, glazed in a single color, and kiln fired again. Finished pieces will be ready for pickup within 4 weeks of the party. This option allows for 1 hour of creating, and we'll update each of your guests by text when work is ready for pickup. • Option 5 - Pottery Making - Love Bugs - Each child will create 2 Miniature Love Bugs from raw clay. Your party will begin with a demonstration and an introduction to the tools and materials. Guests will then enjoy a bit of creative play as they get the feel of the clay by shaping it and adding textures. Finally they'll create their own Love Bugs from the clay bodies that we provide. This option allows for 1 hour of creating, and after being dried thoroughly and fired in our kiln, work will be ready to be glazed within 2 weeks. We'll update each of your guests by text when work is ready to be glazed, and they may then join us in the studio individually at any time during regular business hours to do so. Guests will then enjoy the fun of designing and creating their own jewelry using a huge variety of beads and other embellishments. While there's no step-by-step instruction with this option, a member of our staff will be on hand with you and your guests throughout the party. This option allows for 1 hour of creating, and your guests will leave the party with their finished pieces of jewelry. The last few photos in this listing show a selection of our bead stash, and we have more in stock than you can possibly imagine!

When you book a Private Birthday Party at ARTworks Vass, you can expect the following:

• 2 hours of party time, including 1 hour of creating and an extra hour for cake, refreshments, opening gifts, and just about anything else that you can imagine!
• a dedicated table will where guests will create during the party.
• extra tables upon request for refreshments and presents.
• arrival up to 30 minutes before party-time to setup the area and add decorations.
• a minimum class size for a Private Children's Birthday Party at ARTworks Vass of 6 participating guests.
• a maximum class size for a Private Children's Birthday Party at ARTworks Vass, using this listing, of 12 participating guests. (Larger parties may be accommodated as space in our classrooms permit. Please text your name, the preferred date and time of your party, and the number of participating guests you are expecting to 910-528-1109 before reserving.)
• When registering for your party, you'll be asked to commit to the number of participating guests that you expect, and you'll pay for that number. We'll do our best to increase this number for you if the need arises, as long as we have the staff and classroom availability to do so. We can't promise these changes, and you will not be able to reduce this number once you commit to it.
• At any time between your registration and the time of your party, if you'd like to add additional guests beyond the number for which you registered, please text Jean Skipper directly with your request, and we'll do our best to accommodate you, as long as we have staff and classroom availability for the addition.
