4/12/25 - Metal & Magic: Tin Art Collage Workshop with Thomas Graham
Join artist Thomas Graham on Saturday, April 12th from 1:00 until 5:00, for an immersive, hands-on workshop where you'll create your own unique Tin Art Collage using upcycled metal. Thomas will share his extensive collection of tin and metal while providing all the tools, materials, and step-by-step guidance needed to bring your vision to life.
In this all-inclusive class, you’ll learn:
✔️ How to select and deconstruct cans, tins, and other metal objects
✔️ Best practices for layout and design
✔️ Safe tool usage and metalworking techniques
✔️ Various attachment methods and finishing touches
This workshop is open to all skill levels—whether you're a beginner or a seasoned metal artist, Thomas will tailor his instruction to your needs.
Ages 14 and up are welcome!
Thomas’ work reflects his love of nature—especially birds—or takes a bold, abstract approach, incorporating vibrant colors and striking graphics from carefully curated tins and cans. Through this creative process, he transforms discarded materials into stunning, sustainable works of art.

Space in this class is limited, and reservations are highly recommended.
Please note that while supplies are included in the cost of this class, you are invited to bring a pair of work gloves and a few of your own prized tins, cans, and other metal parts and pieces to incorporate into your finished originals.

- Beginners are welcome.
- Children age 14 and older are welcome to attend class independently.
- At ARTworks Vass, you're always welcome to bring your own Nibbles and Sips to class. (Bonus points if you bring extra to share!)
- Registration allows for one Guest per class project.
- Only Registered Guests may attend class.
- Registrations are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.
- Class starts promptly as scheduled.
- Dress to mess or bring an apron.
