Join Michigan-based mixed media artist Melissa Rian for a hands-on workshop where creativity meets craftsmanship! On Friday, April 25th from 2:00 to 6:00, you'll create your own unique art journal using a personalized collage sheet made during class.
Learn the Coptic stitch binding technique, a beautiful and functional way to bind your journal while allowing it to lay flat for easy use.
What to Bring:
- Ephemera: Paper-based, printed items such as menus, ticket stubs, newspapers, postcards, posters, sheet music, stickers, and greeting cards.
Perfect for artists, journal enthusiasts, and anyone looking to explore mixed media techniques in a fun, hands-on environment. No prior experience necessary!
Other Important Information:
- Beginners are welcome.
- Children age 14 and older are welcome to attend class independently.
- At ARTworks Vass, you're always welcome to bring your own Nibbles and Sips to class. (Bonus points if you bring extra to share!)
- Registration allows for one Guest per class project.
- Only Registered Guests may attend class.
- Registrations are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.
- Class starts promptly as scheduled.
