Learn to Draw: A 4-Week Journey from Sketch to Skill

Unlock your creativity and build a solid foundation in drawing with this fun and interactive 4-week class! Designed for beginners and intermediate artists, each class will guide you step by step through essential techniques, helping you gain confidence and improve your skills.


🎨 When and What to Expect:

✔️ Week 1: Thurs., May 1st 4:00-5:30

  • Supplies and how to use them.
  • An exercise on using tools and basics of shapes, lines, and shading.

✔️ Week 2: Thurs., May 8th 4:00-5:30

  • How to Bring your Inspiration to Life.
  • Understanding proportions and perspective.

✔️ Week 3: Thurs., May 15th 4:00-5:30

  • How to not let the details overwhelm you.
  • Adding depth with light, shadow, and texture.

✔️ Week 4: Thurs., May 22nd 4:00-5:30

  • Bringing it all together in final touches.


With one class per week, you’ll have time to practice and apply what you’ve learned before moving to the next level. Whether you’re picking up a pencil for the first time or looking to refine your skills, this course will help you unlock your artistic potential.


No prior experience needed—just bring your enthusiasm and artistic heart!


You'll use various pencils on an 8x10" paper. All supplies are included.

Important Information: 

  • Beginners are welcome.
  • Children age 14 and older may attend class independently.
  • Children under age 14 may join this class if a responsible adult also registers to attend and participate with them.
  • Registration allows for one Guest per class project. 
  • Only Registered Guests may attend class.
  • Registrations are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.
  • Class starts promptly as scheduled.
  • Dress to mess or bring an apron.
  • At ARTworks Vass, you're always welcome to bring your own Nibbles and Sips to class.
