5/31/25 - Kids' Memory Makers: 8” x 10” Scrapbook Art for Framing with Kathy Downs
Let your child’s creativity shine in this fun and engaging Memory Scrapbook Workshop with Kathy Downs on Saturday, May 31st from 9:30 to 11! Using a variety of colorful papers, stickers, decorative tape, markers, and more, kids will design and craft a unique scrapbook page to cherish. All materials provided are acid-free and designed to last. 8x10 frame is included.
What We’ll Cover:
✔️ Planning a layout
✔️ Choosing colors and embellishments
✔️ Measuring and cutting (using both regular and specialty scissors)
✔️ Using a tape runner for assembly
What to Bring:
📸 3-5 photos related by a theme (e.g., Our Family, Our Pets, Me & Mom/Dad, or a special friend).
Photo Guidelines:
- 3” x 5” or smaller
- Printed on plain paper or photo paper (must be able to cut to size)
- Additional small photos are welcome!
⚠️ Please do not send original or irreplaceable photos, as they will be cut and used in the project.
This scrapbook makes a wonderful keepsake or gift for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, or a special family member or friend. Your child will leave with a beautiful, completed project!
Important Information:
- Beginners are welcome.
- School Aged Children, who follow instructions well and can work and function relatively independently in the classroom and bathroom are welcome to attend.
- Adults are not permitted to register as a student in this class unless registering and attending with the child or children. (Grab your favorite kiddo and join us!)
- For the safety of all involved, we require that Children be dropped-off and picked-up with their instructor in the classroom, and street or parking lot pickups are be permitted.
- Children may bring a snack and a drink with a lid to class.
- Registration allows for one Guest per class project.
- Only Registered Guests may attend class.
- Registrations are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.
- Class starts promptly on time.
- Dress to mess or bring an apron.
