Join Jean Skipper on Saturday, November 22nd, from 10:00 until 1:00 00 to hand build your North Carolina Pottery Nativity! During this Pottery Class, Jean teaches about clay handling, texturing, and design.
Your pottery will be dried thoroughly, kiln fired, cleaned, glazed, and dried thoroughly again, before it goes into the kiln for one final firing. Your finished project will be ready within 4 weeks of your class.
The all inclusive price of $69 this class is being discounted to $49 for church groups, and it includes supplies, tool usage, glaze selection, 2 kiln firings, and instruction.
Please Note: Registration for this class will allow you to make a single nativity, and your entire family will be able to collaborate on it together. If you’d like to make additional nativities so that each family member will have their own keepsake of this experience, please register one time for each of the nativities that you’d like to create.
Important Information:
- Beginners are welcome.
- Children age 14 and older may attend class and make a project independently.
- Children under age 14 may join this class if a responsible adult registers to attend and participate with them.
- Registration allows for up to one family per class project.
- Only Registered Guests may attend class.
- Registrations are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.
- Class starts promptly as scheduled.
- Dress to mess or bring an apron.
