Kids just want to make Pottery, and this Class with Jean Skipper is a great place for them to start! The memories and the hand built pottery pieces that they create are sure to be as unique as they are, and they make great gifts too.
Class will be held from 10:00 until 1:00, on Friday, January 23rd, and each guest will create a Hand Build North Carolina Pottery Snail Dish that's currently being designed. Please check back, as pictures will be posted by early December. (Please note that the photos shown in this listing are of previous Critters and Creatures created by Jean, and not of the projects that will be created during this class.)
Pottery Snails will be created on 1/23. They'll be dried thoroughly and kiln fired within 2 weeks of class, and guests will be invited to return to glaze their snails personally at that time.
After glazing, each piece will be dried and kiln fired again, and it will be ready for pickup within 2 weeks of glazing.
The all inclusive price for this class is $49 per guest.
As you register, if you feel that your Children may have an easier time with you creating beside them as a registered student in class, please register for an additional seat for yourself.

- Important Information:Beginners are welcome.
- School aged children are welccome to attend by themselves.
- Younger children may attend with an adult who also registers for a seat in class to create along side them.
- Adults are not permitted to register as a student in this class unless registering and attending with the children they love.
- For the safety of all involved, we require that children be dropped-off and picked-up with their instructor in the classroom, and street or parking lot pickups will not be permitted.
- Children may bring a snack and a drink with a lid to class.
- Registration allows for one guest per class project.
- Registrations are non-refundable.
- Dress to mess or bring an apron.
- After we notify you that work is ready for pickup, we will hold it for up to 90 days. If you haven't requested an extension or picked up your work within that timeframe, finished pieces will be disposed of at the gallery's discretion.
