12/14/25 - Snowman - Hand Building Pottery Class with Marie the Potter
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll get to create your own one-of-a-kind Snowman —no pottery wheel required! Your snowman can become a vessel such as a vase or add a handle to turn it into a mug!
Marie provides a pre-wheel thrown snowman body, and you’ll bring him to life by designing and sculpting your own features using clay. Whether whimsical, weird, or wonderfully expressive, your Snowman will be uniquely yours.
Date/Time: Sunday, Dec. 14th from 2:00-4:30
Price per person: $69
This all inclusive price includes instruction, tool usage, glaze selection, and 2 kiln firings.
Come ready to play with clay, get a little messy, and create a truly personal piece of pottery. Perfect for beginners, families, or anyone looking to have fun with friends and try something new.
This entire process can take up to 4 weeks, depending on the humidity level, and the time that it takes pottery to thoroughly dry between kiln firings. We'll update you when your pottery is ready for pickup.

Important Information:
- Beginners are welcome.
- Dress to mess or bring an apron.
- Children age 14 and older may attend class independently.
- Registrations are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled
- Registration allows for 1 person per class. Only those who have registered may participate.
- Class starts promptly as scheduled.
- At ARTworks Vass, you're always welcome to bring your own Nibbles and Sips to class.
- You will be notified when your project is ready to pick up. We will hold it for 90 days with monthly notifications by text or phone. If you haven't requested an extension or picked up your work within 90 days, your project will be disposed of at the gallery's discretion.
