Struggling with countertop clutter? Create a beautiful solution with a custom-designed resin tray!


Join Laura Scott on Tuesday, Jan. 20th from 5:30–7:30 PM for a hands-on creative workshop where you’ll design a stunning resin-filled wood tray featuring rich, flowing colors in an organic abstract style. No two trays are ever alike, and you’ll be amazed by the movement, depth, and shine you can achieve.


Laura will guide you step by step as you learn how to combine epoxy resin with vibrant mica powders and pigments from her collection to build color and dimension. She’ll also demonstrate her popular Ocean Waves technique, showing you how to use a heat gun to gently move the resin to form ocean waves.


Included:

  • Epoxy resin and a wide assortment of colorants
  • A wood tray, pre-painted black
  • Tray size: approximately 13" x 10" x 2.5"
  • Expert instruction


Note: If you’d prefer a different exterior color or would like to bring your own tray, simply indicate your preference at registration. Laura will contact you prior to class to finalize the details.


Come create a functional piece of art that’s as beautiful as it is useful!


Your tray will need to remain in the studio on a level surface for 24 hours and in a stable room temperature environment for 72 hours. You can pick up your tray on the Saturday following class.



Other Important Information: 

  • Beginners are welcome.
  • Children age 14 and older may attend class independently.
  • Children under age 14 may join this class if a responsible adult also registers to attend and participate with them.
  • Registration allows for one Guest per class project. 
  • Only Registered Guests may attend class.
  • Registrations are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.
  • Class starts promptly as scheduled.
  • At ARTworks Vass, you're always welcome to bring your own Nibbles and Sips.
  • Dress to mess or bring an apron.
  • You will be notified when your project is ready to pick up.  We will hold it for 90 days with monthly notifications by text or phone. If you haven't requested an extension or picked up your work within 90 days, your project will be disposed of at the gallery's discretion.
