Both listings are currently shown as "RESERVED" to accommodate reservations for last year's guests and those who are currently on our waitlist. (They always get first dibs!)

How much will ReMe cost in 2027?
The total price remains at $1,699. You may pay this amount in full at the time of registration, or text Jean privately at 910-528-1109 if you'd like to break this amount into 2 - 6 payments. We want you to be able to join us, and we'll work with you on a payment plan if possible!


Accommodations
In 2027, we'll be staying in our beloved Soundfront Inn. It's the oldest structure on the island after the lighthouse, and the home of our ReMe Retreats on Ocracoke Island.


What is a ReMe Retreat?
ReMe Retreats are part vacation with your besties, part learning experience, and part immersion into the culture of our beloved Ocracoke Island. These experiences also offer the gift of time. Time to spend with your fellow Artists, time for independent study, time for naps, wandering, yoga, massages, and the beach. 


We may also enjoy dining at fabulous restaurants on Ocracoke, attending live music sessions, participating in local art classes, taking boat tours, visiting Portsmouth Island, strolling, kayaking, and more.


ReMe is not an organized instructional retreat where every minute is scheduled and planned. Instead it's more of an Open Studio with friends, with several included mini-workshops and optional activities available to those interested. (2027 is going to be more fun than you can imagine, and for now we're keeping these activities a secret because we love to surprise you!)

 

• Our time together begins with arrival on a Sunday evening by 5:00, and departure on the following Saturday after breakfast.
• Most breakfasts and lunches are included, along with two evening meals.
• Coffee, tea, and spa water are included.
• Sweet and savory snacks are provided.
• As your ReMe Hosts, we'll be creating beside you throughout the week, and we'll be available to help you in any way possible with projects in our mediums.
• Jean will also be happy to discuss the business of art with any guests who are interested.
• Impromptu tutorials are a definite possibility, as are demonstrations led by any guest who is interested in sharing.
• At least 2 Mini Workshops will be held each week for anyone who's interested, and the supplies and price of these classes are included for all who want to participate.
• We'll work independently on our personal Art Projects... or not! The choices of how to spend time on Ocracoke are all yours.
• Happy Hours tend to happen organically everyday, although they're not officially included in the retreat price.
• When meals aren't provided, you'll have the ability to enjoy meals at a local restaurant, or to use our kitchen for your personal meal prep. Leftovers, if there are any, are always an option too!
• Our beloved ReMe Gift-a-thon is a perennial hit, and all attendees are invited to join the fun by bringing small gifts for each of their fellow guests. (This is completely optional. More details provided after registration.)
• And YES! Upon arrival, you will be asked to provide the answer to the dreaded question, "What would we be surprised to know about you?" on an index card to be shared one by one throughout the week. (We tell you this so that you can either think about it, or do something amazing between now and then!)
• A few special ReMe and Ocracoke Island Traditions and Surprises are also included.
• And by popular demand, in 2027, our ReMe Retreat will begin with a Monday Spa Day. This will happen onsite at Soundfront Inn, and a menu of all available treatments and their cost will be provided to guests in early 2027.
