3/3/20 Layered and Lovely - Earrings and Pendants with Jean Skipper - Evening Session
Perfect for everyday wear or special occasions; join Jean Skipper on Tuesday, March 3rd, between 5:30 and 7:30 as you create Layered and Lovely Solid Copper Earrings and Pendants.
During your time in class, you may make a pair of earrings hung from sterling silver earwires and a pendant, or three pendants. Your pieces may be highly textured, antiqued, or bright and shiny. The choices are all yours!
Jean will present you with easy instructions and hands-on assistance during every step of the process. She’ll also provide you with all of the supplies and tools that you’ll need to complete your beautiful Necklace. You'll learn about safe tool usage, metal preparation, cold connection techniques, finishing, and polishing.
Whether you’re creating for yourself or a friend; the piece that you make in this class will be treasured for a lifetime.
Reservations are suggested, as many of our classes sell out quickly. Walk ins are also welcome as space and supplies permit. Register here or call 910-245-4129.
Please note that for groups of five or more, Jean will be happy to host this class in the evening or at a time that works best for your schedule.
Jean Skipper is an artist from Vass, North Carolina, who creates mixed-media storytelling jewelry. Her work can be whimsical or sentimental, and sometimes it’s a bit of both. Hand applied words and textures play an important role in most everything that she creates. These details help to tell the story of each piece, and they encourage the wearer to share their personal memories and history.
