Covid 19 Crisis - Full Statement - May 29, 2020
Welcome! We are so happy to welcome you back to ARTworks Vass.
We’re exercising an abundance of caution as we reopen to protect you, our artists, our employees, our families, and our community at large. We're viewing these measures as acts of kindness and ask you to join us in this spirit.
Folks who spend time at ARTworks Vass do so for many reasons... amazing art and classes, friendship, laughter, inspiration, or just a break from the realities of life. With this in mind, we ask you to lead with kindness in all things.
While at ARTworks Vass, let's enjoy the beauty of art, friendship, and all that connects us. Whatever your opinions may be about politics, covid 19, or any other controversial subject... to ensure a peaceful experience for all who enter our door... will you please set them aside temporarily while we're together?

As We Reopen - We ask you to do the following:
- Don't join us if you're not feeling well, if you've been sick recently, or if a member of your household has been sick.
- Wear a face covering during your time in the gallery and our classrooms. You may wear your own, or ours will be available as you enter the gallery. (We're asking this of you and ourselves as an act of kindness toward those who are most susceptible to covid 19.)
- Sanitize your hands as you enter and leave the gallery to protect yourself and others. You will find hand sanitizer at the door and throughout the gallery for your use.
As We Reopen – We will do the following:
- Disinfect and clean the gallery, classrooms, bathrooms, light switches, door knobs, common areas, tools, and supplies with industrial strength disinfectant cleaner at opening, at closing, and throughout the day.
- Have hand sanitizer available for your use outside of our front door and at various locations in the gallery and classrooms.
- Require all who enter the gallery to wear a face covering at all times. If you do not have a face covering:
- Disposable surgical masks are also available as you enter the gallery.
For your safety while Shopping, we will:
- Happily process your in-person purchases from a distance.
- Send photos, videos, and anything else helpful to find the perfect piece to allow you to shop from afar or for gift giving or for yourself.
- Continue shipping, delivery and curbside pickup upon request.
- Increase our offerings of Original Artwork and Gifts in our Online Store and on our Social Media Sites.

During the COVID 19 Crisis - to protect our Artists, Guests, and the General Public, we may adjust our gallery hours or reschedule classes as necessary to accommodate gallery closures. We'll always provide student updates by email, and updates will be posted on our social media sites and website. Thank you for your patience with this!
