9/9/19 Handstamped Charms and Charm Making with Jean Skipper - Evening Session
During this class from 6:00 until 8:00 on Monday, September 9th, Jean will lead guests in the hand stamping, texturing, and finishing of up to three solid vintage brass or copper charms. Jean will demonstrate the basics of creating copper spirals and fancy links to embellish these pieces. One solid brass, copper, or steel ball chain will be provided to each guest so that the charms may worn or displayed individually or together.
Each guest will create the charms, necklace or keychain in the style of their choice. Samples for this class are shown in the firstfive photos on this page. and creative expression within these designs will be encouraged. (Additional charms may be created in class at a reduced price of $7 each)
Whether you’re making for yourself or a friend; the pieces that you create in this class will be treasured for a lifetime.
This class is appropriate for Guests with all levels of experience. Beginners are welcome, and those age fourteen and older are invited to attend.
The price of this class includes supplies, tool usage and instruction. Additional beads, cultured pearls, Swarovski Crystals, elaborate chains, handmade pottery, glass components, and other premium supplies will also be available during class for purchase at an additional cost. (Please see the last four photo for just a few possibilities of more complex charms and projects.)
From safe tool usage and metal preparation to handstamping, texturing, and the various methods by which jewelry components may be connected and finished... Jean will present you with easy instructions and hands-on assistance during every step of the way.
Due to the personalized amount of attention that each guest will receive in this class, space is limited to six students per session.
To accommodate our Guests' varied schedules, this class will also be offered on September 10th between 2:00 and 4:00 in the afternoon.
