9/7/24 - Private Session - Marketing for Creative Small Business Entrepreneurs with Jean Skipper - 3 Small Group Sessions and 2 Private Sessions
This year could be your best ever as a Creative Small Business Entrepreneur!
Whether you're completely new to marketing yourself and your business, a more experienced Visual Artist, or an established Small Business Entrepreneur who's seeking to maximize your potential, Jean designed this workshop series to take you and your marketing results to the next level.
Marketing for Creative Entrepreneurs with Jean Skipper will meet on Saturdays, May 25th, June 1st, July 6th, August 3rd, and September 7th. Registration for this Workshop Series will provide you with 2 half hour private sessions with Jean, and 3 two hour Small Group Sessions. To ensure a personalized experience for everyone in attendance, workshop size will be strictly limited to a maximum of 6 participants. More details follow.
What to Expect
In mid-May, you'll receive your first assignment in the form of a written assessment of where you are now with regard to your business and the manner in which you market it.
On May 25th, you'll meet with Jean privately for 30 minutes to assess your current practices, and to begin to plan to maximize your successful experience in this workshop and beyond. (Available times for this will be shown as you register online, and they'll be filled in the order of registrations.)
During Session 1, between 10:00 and 12:00 on June 1st, Jean will build on the information gathered in private sessions, with the goal of establishing a solid marketing foundation for each participant. Topics include developing a collection, defining your brand, pricing for profitability, communicating effectively in person and in writing, identifying target markets, assessing competition, and a brief overview of possible income producing opportunities.
During Session 2, between 10:00 and 12:00 on July 6th, best practices for successful networking and prospecting will be introduced. Jean will provide guidelines for designing printed marketing materials, and she'll present the basics of an effective online and social media marketing strategy.
During Session 3, between 10:00 and 12:00 on August 3rd, Jean will discuss the importance of developing a comprehensive marketing plan, and of setting well defined, challenging, attainable, and measurable goals. Themes of personal and external accountability will be introduced as each participant prepares to launch their plans. Time will also be dedicated to a question and answer session with Jean.
On September 7th, you'll meet with Jean privately for 30 minutes to assess your progress, strengths, opportunities, and goals. The topics covered in this session will be your choice. (Available times for this will be shown as you register online, and they'll be filled in the order of registrations.)
Jean Skipper may be best known as the Owner of ARTworks Vass. She's worked as Gallerist for 11 years, as a Professional Artist for 20 years, and in the Financial Service Industry for more than 15 years. One of Jean's personal missions is to help others achieve their dreams.
